Fifteen Years Ago…

Fifteen years ago, East West Realty (known then as Eagle Landing Realty) began new homes sales for Eagle Landing in a large white trailer at the corner of OakLeaf Plantation and Branan Field Road (State Route 23).  Surrounded by forest and fields, the nearest food source was a Publix about a mile and a half away.

In 2005, East West Partners was experiencing record new home sales in Eagle Harbor.   They took on the challenge of creating yet another lifestyle-rich community in Clay County with amazing resort-like amenities –  the golf course community at OakLeaf Plantation.

Young live oak trees bordered the OakLeaf Plantation Parkway.  Jack pine and white pine trees dotted the landscape.
No houses.  No stores.  Not in this neck of the woods.

Eight model homes were under construction by late January 2005.   Eagle Landing’s featured builders consisted of: Sid Higginbotham, J.A. Long, Rosewood, Toll Brothers, Providence, Standard Pacific, Panitz and CornerStone.
